I just hope the production version looks better than the concept.

Hey Steve, I really like the concept. With minivans, they all look the same, very boring! The silouette of a minivan hasn't changed in the past decade. This is cool because its different, and thats why Ford designed it that way. To stick out in the crowded minivan market. I read that they will keep regular doors on it, I just hope that they keep them suicide style. That would be a first for a big name manufacturer (the Rolls Royce Phantom excluded). Can't wait to see the pre-production spy shots soon.

Well, it's not THAT bad, but the front end needs a little more slant and the sides need a little more flair. Otherwise it's OK.

I think you're crazy man! The closer it looks to the concept, the more it'll sell, in my opinion. Go polarization!
Of course it'll get toned down for the production version, it'll lose those suicide doors, smaller rims, probably lose those lines on the sides... i think the overall look of the car is great though, it'll stand out and that's definitely what they need.

It should have automatic sliding doors instead of suicide doors. Though I like the suicide doors. Auto sliding doors would be that much more appealing. I say keep the name as well.

If FoMoCo was in their right mind, they would have sued the pants off the producers of that film for even remotely connecting that loser Dice to any Ford product.

I think Fairlane is a perfect name. Its the equivalent type of vehicle in terms of its people carrying role to the original car. A historical name like this will help to boost sales of the Fairlane. But its not such a storied name that it's gonna **** off too many fans of the original. Its not like they're slapping Thunderbird onto a Super Duty (although Thunder is a pretty appropriate word for a big *** truck...). I really think ford should stick with Fairlane. What other car could they use that name on?

I still don't agree with the name, seeing that should've been the name of the Fusion(Plus RWD)...But Fairlane's liveable with.

Sorry about that, I should have stated non coupes. The cars above have real little doors, not full size ones. What I was trying to say, was that other than a Rolls Phantom, there is no other 4 door sedan with full size rear suicide doors.
