Took the wife for a weekend in the City (NY) stayed the Gramercy Park Hotel.
Apparently Ford was doing some promo work and had a FLEX parked right in front of the Hotel on Lex and 21st Street.
My wife took one look and said "Is that the new Land Rover?"
She likes it, and I have to agree, it's a nice looking ride.
Note the Manufacturer plates!
Not something we see in NYC very often.

It's not a sub-brand of Ford like Scion is of Toyota.
It looks nothing like a scion in person, it looks more like a stretched LandRover.

EXACTLY!!! Thats what I tell everyone who comes in to work. Its got a bit of Range Rover/Land Rover in it.

geez, the scion read to me like a joke. I really lik these things, oging to try and convince my parents to buy one.

 

If my family were big enough that I needed something with this much passenger space, I would definitely want one of these instead of a minivan.
