i see they pulled the smooth move of simply converting the UK price to dollars, rather than looking at how it's price compares to other cars that are available both in the UK and the US. The base focus, if you convert it's UK price to US dollars, would be $23,000. Cars, fuel, food, rent, salaries... everything is higher in the UK. Except good english ales and cheddar cheese!

i don;t like the part about different suspension tuning for different markets. i can just see it now "i want to get the euro torsion beam and springs."

We'll probably see only 1.6L version.
Judging by my experience with Fiat Grande Punto 1.6L - not many people will like 90 hp engine.

Yeah, they should bump it up just a little bit. My 2.0L cougar has only 125hp, but feels plenty powerful when making passes and the like. It does help that is a manual though, I can always downshift for extra grunt...
