EVOS at EAA

Saw the EVOS yesterday at EAA in Oshkosh. looks like it was tweaked a little since I saw it in red at the Chicago Auto Show. I liked the color and from some angles it looks OK, but I'm not sure it is a new Mustang. The presenter did say we would not see it in production, but cues from the car will show upo on many upcoming Ford products.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were one and the same...to some degree.

Say what you will but that front end is awesome! The grill, mean headlights, and defined lines don't necessarily scream Mustang but they sure capture the essence of a modern sporty car. Unfortunately I don't believe ford would preview any Mustang design elements in a car that became the new Fusion.

If the new Mustang looks anything at all like that, I'll be double glad I went ahead and got the '12 instead of waiting.

The front end looks Dodge Charger-ish. You can buy that now, no need to wait for cues to appear in future Fords. How is this innovative? Seems Ford is behind the curve in this look. Not saying this to be hating, but hope they would come out with something better.

The EVOS looks terrific. I suspect we never see a full side view because it has the cab forward thing Chrysler did 15 years ago. The hood has to be longer for a Mustang but everything else can stay the same.

Idk bout the charger-ish look. Not sayin youre crazy lol, just not quite sering it. Id live for the next gen mustang to have a mean looking front end like a charger though. Something that just screams Get Outta My Way

Not a fan. It just looks too much like a combination of Jaguar and Aston Martin.

^you say that like Jaguar and Aston Martin dont make some of the most beautiful cars out now - Those two have by far the best looking lineups of cars of any manufacturer.

They're beautiful, but in a Aston Martin and Jaguar type of a way.

When you make a Frankenstein like this and then add Ford's badge on it, then it just doesn't look as good.

That Dodge sure looks similar to the front of the 74-78 Ford mustang 2.

I happen to think this looks superb. But you know what they say about opinions!
