End of Mazda 6?

Is this true?
Wikipedia says that Mazda will cancel 6 after 2008.

Don't see that on the wiki, might have missed it but 2008 part jsut says new one on the way.

Is it possible? Sure, but I don't think so. There's a refresh coming, maybe they're changing the name.

Read this paragraph from the Wiki page under the 2008 section:

Mazda is reportedly[1] developing a replacement for the MAZDA6 for the 2008 model year. This new vehicle would reportedly use the 3.5 L V6 Ford Cyclone engine with over 250 hp. Insiders predict that the turbocharged MZI engine might be the base offering and that all wheel drive will be available more widely. In addition, it has been said that the next generation MAZDA6 will in fact be larger, more luxurious, and take on a shape similar to the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class 4-door coupe.
Unless I'm missing something, a new Mazda6 is on the way for 2008. I doubt they would design a whole new car for a one year run.

That's what I said, Wiki and Edmunds both say new 6 coming, nothing about discontinuing the 6 alltogether.
