See, the thing is that the Mustang doesn't have the numbers in the first place. And if there were a luxocoupe market, Ford would *have been* in it in the first place.

Oh, sure, you could argue about the Cadillac coupe whatever it is... CTS? Don't care, honest. Saw one... Gawdawful. Can't believe it's Corvette underneath all that *UGLY*. GM builds it either out of some desperation or lure of 'halo'... or both. Whatever it is... man. It's hideous.

But hey, if Ford makes a Lincoln Coupe? Go for it. Won't hurt me none to see one.

Just expect it to fade out like Tbird did in the 2000's version.

While I might differ in some of the stylistic details, Lincoln DESPERATELY needs some dynamic cars in its portfolio to raise its excitement level above comatose. A slight stretch of the S550 platform for true four-place seating, a somewhat more upscale and refined styling job inside and out and voila, your new Lincoln something or another.

Back to topic: I quite like it. Would be awesome to see a top of the range Lincoln coupe. It's been a while since something super classy has been available for under $100K.

 

Let's get something straight bud. 1st, I didn't insult other posters for any of their opinions. Try, it was the other way around. Second, I'm not making fun of the mods, just saying how it is. Third, its clear that expressing ones opinions is okay as long as its not aginst their same opinions. Respectfully, I don't need your pro tip.

I like the look. With a distinct power plant to separate it further from a Ford offering, such as the boosted D35 cranking 380 HP and 460 ft lbs of torque found in the Navigator, LMC might have a viable product.

I'd probably look at this if it had serious jaguar or aston type panache. Looking at lincoln's current lineup (yawn) they scream boring (and ugly). They have become an afterthought. I don't think the team at the helm of lincoln has high performance or panache on their minds though. "That's just dangerous and irresponsible 'sonny'."

 

I think it looks pretty good. I can't see this car in Lincoln's future line up.
