i really wish ford wouldn't ditch aston. I mean, they've got like 20 Billion, they just got another 20 Billion in loans and stuff like that... and they're losing a couple billion every year until hopefully they turn things around in a bit. How is the 1 Billion they get from this sale gonna change much? They should be thinking of all the Ford fan boys and girls who like to brag that some of the sweetest cars in the world come out of FoMoCo.
On the other hand, i do like the idea of Jaguar moving upmarket and the two british brands going up against eachother. Can't wait to see all sorts of XKR-RRRR vs DB9SS-RS matchups and so forth, whether it be road tests or bond movies...
Then again, it was kinda cool having Aston as like the step up above Jaguar in the same company. Oh well.

 

i'm fine with ford selling it now..just as long as the buyers honor the mark and pick up where Ford is leaving off.
