5.0 Engine on other Fords
The Explorer is no longer a RWD/4WD vehicle, it's now FWD/AWD. It would take substantial re-engineering to make the Coyote work in it. If the Explorer needs more power, it would be more practical to drop in an EcoBoost V6.
I see it going into the Expedition and the Econoline van. That's about it unless Lincoln surprises everybody by making a high-performance RWD coupe or sedan.

Well, the Econoline is all but dead. I think we're getting the Transit over here soon:

Haven't heard much about the Expedition either. It could really use a little update with the new motor for now, but they haven't done anything yet.
I don't think the 5.0 will see many vehicles outside of the Mustang and F-150.

An Expy update is supposedly coming soon which will update the drivetrains to the new standard, which probably means 5.0, Ecoboost, maybe BOSS.
Mixed signals on Econoline, there's a chance we may get Econoline and Transit, but even if it stays I'm not sure 5.0 would go to it.
That will be about it for now, stay tuned on whether there's a RWD sedan in the future.

Didn't Ford learn anything from Sprinter failure?

Yeah, but back in 2009 (I'm not sure of 2010 numbers) Ford sold ~150,000 Econolines compared to ~20,000 Sprinters that Dodge/Mercedes sold. I know 2010 numbers are even smaller for Sprinter since its not being sold under a Dodge name anymore.

There are few reasons. Brand loyalty is one of the reasons for sure, but Econoline is also cheaper and can be purchased with a gasoline engine too (Sprinter is available only with diesel). And IMO Sprinter is just too big, a lot of useless space.
