To date, I still think the best interpretation of the current generation was the slammed and bagged 2010 Taurus that Mobsteel did. It was wicked in black--and it didn't hurt that Mobsteel tweaked the boost to produce about 450 hp and over 500 ft lbs of torque from the D35 V6. http://jalopnik.com/5488327/2010-mob...ho-first-drive

Just my personal opinion (keep in mind, my opinion and a buck won't get you a cup of coffee at Starbuck's) Ford never allowed the last iteration of the Taurus SHO to realize its full potential. I think the ingredients were there--bold looks, AWD, boosted motor--just not quite bold enough, and not quite enough boost.
