Is it really going to be almost a year after the 2012 focus hits the lots?

They've got to get the mainstream Focus models in production and firing on all cylinders, plus there's the Focus EV, and the 4-cylinder EB production has to get up to steam. A year (at most) is reasonable.

 

Knowing Ford, who always introduces SE model a year or two after a regular model, Focus ST will probably be available a year after a regular Focus.

Ouch, ridding the Focus of an RS model to the ST. That's a blow. Like I said on Jalopnik, at least offer an ST AWD. Tuners can do the rest.

Edit: I also said that with the Golf R coming to town, the AWD are due for some urban competition. I think the ST in AWD form would be great to battle the Golf R.

 

Wow. 250 turbo charged horses eh. I read somewhere that they built a nitrous ready one too. Just add the bottle. I am not sure on that so no quotes please
