What do you think of them? If you own one what kind of MPG's do you get? What kind of aftermarket parts are out there for them? What kind of HP can you get with said aftermarket parts??

It's a 160-horse 4 cylinder, don't think you can get a lot more out of them without a turbo.
They drive pretty nicely stock, more power would definitely be more fun.
Haven't driven a stick-shift model yet, I'm assuming they'd be a bunch peppier

I had one for over a year. I really liked it and averaged 29 mpg but the DCT was a constant source of grief. The last time I took it to the stealership the service adviser chuckled and said "yea we're seeing alot of those, got three in there ahead of yours with the same problem". Check out http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...play.php?f=124 , nearly a full page of transmission problems.
Bottom line it's a really nice car but Fords automated manual transmission lets it down. A manual transmission is the only way to go in a new Focus. I left my Focus at the VW dealership btw.

I have a 2012 Titanium Hatch with the Pilot Sport 3 handling package as my daily. I've averaged 32.1 mpg over 41k miles . . .

My GF has a 2012 with a stick, she likes it, and gets pretty good gas mileage as others have mentioned.

The auto is a dog, don't get it.

We ordered a 2012 and took delivery shortly after they were introduced. Our's is a 5 dr manual with the sport package.

Love the responsive steering and the handling. In our opinion it's a fun car to drive. Ours is an SE with MyFord and the two tone red/black interior. It's has lots of room, is comfortable to drive on the freeway. Seems to have a very solid chassis. We have not had any problems with the car.

Only mod has been to add black TI headlights and foglight bezels and a black "sport" centercap from a 2011 Fusion, our car has the black/polished wheels and I didn't like the blue centercap.

BTW: it's a very nice shifting manual.
