In engines with a bore diameter as large as the 6.2L will use there exists a good argument for the same. Elsewhere, not so much.

I like everything about the truck and i have believed that the Super Duty has been the best looking HD truck since 1998 yet I don't love the grill, and never went for the Super Chief look

2011 Ford F250/350 Super Duty gets a face lift and a new diesel powerplant!

Knew the engine was coming, but I had not seen updated face lift photos . . . . .

http://fordfannews.blogspot.com/2010...gets-face.html

Other goodies of this power plant include a massive turbo, boosting 30psi, forged steel crankshaft and oil jets that cool the underside of pistons. Ford also went to great lengths to make sure that problems that plagued Navistar engine won't happen again. The engine testing consisted of 1200 hours of continuous usage. Ford also ran the engine for 6 hours straight at peak torque and for 3 hours at peak horsepower—and rev it to 4200 rpm even though the rev limit is set to 4000. All sounds impressive at the time and I am excited to wait for it's immediate arrival to the market and reviews that are to follow.

I am a hard core Ford Super Duty man and that grill needs to go. The new engines are going to be awesome from what I hear about them. I cant wait to see what that engine does.

Each successive super duty gets a bigger, uglier grille

And yet they keep selling . . . .

I dig the grill, but getting so large it reminds me of Kenworth or Mack front grill!

Don't get me wrong, I love the trucks! I just don't like the badly styled hugeness of the grille. The Raptor grille I dig, and it's huge too

Uhhh, welcome to September.

On a serious note, though, I really like the new Super Duty, especially with its new 6.2L gas and 6.7L diesel engine offerings. However, I think it's time Ford redesign everything from the A-pillar back; it's retained that exact look since, what, 1999?

This was early drawing by pickuptruck.com web-site.

Too bad it didn't look like this.
