So I just read that the SHO version is only available as AWD? With 365 hp and 350 pounds ft of torque, so much for smoking tires... Wonder what she will tip the scales at?

I'm not sure though. Are they too big, or just too pointy?

Goes to show how too much of a good thing can be bad... Yes, in order for it to become truly great, the Taurus needs to lose some weight.

Braeger Ford today.

Fully loaded SHO. $45,000.

I was really surprised how quiet it is.

That's not fully loaded. Those are the 19s on there which means it does not have the sport package. I'm noticing most of the ones I see at dealers do not have the sport package and i can't imagine why.

I think the Fusion should have been the Taurus. Cars are just getting too big and heavy. Just my opinion.

My local dealer has gotten in 5, but they were all spoken for and gone the day they came in. Today i was driving by the dealer and they had one on the lot. I stopped in to look at it since my Dad is thinking about buying one this spring.

I didn't get to drive it but i got to sit in it. It is a very beautiful car and the seats feel so nice. I'm divorced and my children are grown and on their own. If i were married and had a child or two, i would consider this car. I can't wait until my Dad gets one of these so i can drive it LOL!!! Ford has a winner with the new 2010 Taurus.
