Well, to be fair, the exterior is better than the previous car...but the real news here is the interior: LIGHT YEARS ahead of the outgoing model.
But I agree, Ford needs to do to the outside what they did to the inside: make it more sculpted and dynamic...add some surface tension to the lines.
They really need to build the MKR, 90% the way it looked as a show car. They need a sexy halo car ASAP.

There's only s much you can do with a mid-life update, and less with a Sedan than with a Pony car. For what it is, I think they did a great job. Assuming GRWD is still around, I believe MKR is still coming.

I just think it kind of stinks that the MKS does not have a unique face any more. I love the MKS but this just doesn't grab me as much. Though I agree with Hollywood's points.

At first I thought it was pretty boring too, but seeing a video of it totally changed my opinion.

I think it looks nicely refined into probably what it should have been from the start. I still find the tail lights a little awkward, although much improved over the first gen.

I think the back end is a Mess. It reminds me of the 79 Cadillac Seville's Bustle Trunk, the way they brought the edges of the bumper up to match the angle of the back window, leaving those pockets in the corners because of the flat rear end..
