I dont understand why people keep saying Mazda should bring back the RX-7......the RX-8 is the evolution of the RX-7......just not a spectacular one.....like the BMW Z-3 and Z-4.....

rx8 is not an evolution of the rx7. mazsa doesn't do the z3 z4 thing. the rx7 was not a evolution as from the rx3 or anything.

The numbers designate different types and sizes of the cars.

I don't nesessarly think that the rx7 should be brough back but they do need to bring back the twin turbos to make the rx8 the car that it shoudl be.

Wait for the RX9. don't expect much change in the 8 with the new 9 now a sure thing. This is an upgraded 7, but it could have used a little more bite. The new 9, according to "Winding Road" will have that.

I agrewe with adding the twin turbo, but they need to lose the crappy rear door thing, it makes the car hideous in my opinion. Buy the 6 if you need the room.

Its a facelift, not a reskin or redesign. The most imporant part of this update is under the skin, as the Wankel's supposedly getting a mileage/hp boost.
