I saw one of them with a body kit yesterday and it looked really good.

It almost looks like an SVT focus.

I like the new fog lights....more traditional Ford/SVT design.

I must say. It's funny but every time I see a red American Focus I can't help but be reminded of my old '89 Tempo I used to own. I don't know but it seems to me like an evolution of that old design. God knows it doesn't look like a Focus.

I get 36 mpg highway in my '05 Focus - I like these '09s. Wish it made sense to trade.

What's wrong with the Tempo? It looks like a mini-Thunderbird of that same year...

Imagine if Ford went the way GM did with the 1986 Eldorado, Riviera and Toronado... THIS would have been your T-bird, Cougar and Mark VII!

Say what you want the Aero designs lead by Jack Telnack were revolutionary for the time... I was just always disappointed the Mustang never properly adapted the having to make do with front and rear fascias on a square body until 1994.

My old 1985 Tbird...

Believe it or not when I first ever saw the Tbird design in 1982 the first thing I thought of was a 1949 Ford Coupe because of the greenhouse shape with rounded forms and thick pillars...

Still the ugly agglomeration and clumsy execution of just about every current styling cliche extant. Except it seems they swapped the ghetto pseudo side vents for a 1984 Supra hatch wing.

The styling reminds me of an old sailing adage: "if you can't tie a good knot, tie a lot of them." Seems that Ford, incapable of coming up with a good design for the forlorn Focus has rather, come up with a lot of styling. The end result of this buffet table approach to design is: styling without any sense of an underlying style.

The Euro Focus can't get here soon enough.

You could always trade it in for a 2009 ...

Or just get a new front bumper with fog lights.

Yeah, just get the 2009 front bumper cover, people swap bumper covers on Mustangs all the time, why not the Focus?

Read the above out loud in a stuffy & smug "Masterpiece Theater" accent for full effect.

You should start a fan club for the current model Focus.

No really.

Seriously.

Honestly.
