If the biggest complaint is that it still looks better than everything else, just not as good as the old one, I'd say they haven't done much harm. Personally, I think it looks great.

Heh, the F-150 comes with a standard trailer brake controller (was standard on the SD trucks)

I saw the new Platinum version at the auto show this weekend. The new F150 looks even better in person than it does in the pics. I hope to be able to add one to my garage after I finish paying off the Mustang.

I think it looks great. The Automotive Press has been giving Ford flack because it is not a "revolutionary" as the new Dodge Ram. I admit the '09 Ram looks good, but I will take a Ford anyday over a Dodge.
The one sad thing is there is no longer a flareside bed option...Lame!
