It's so close, but I can't believe there isnt anything about the 06 ranger yet.
I only managed to scavenge these pics.
There's bound to be more out there, so spill the beans

Not bad, not bad at all.
But there is no way that truck will be able to compete against Durango, Colorado, Canyon, Tacoma and/or Frontier. In sales, yeah, no doubt about that, but in performances and towing capacity ... I don't think so.

needs a V8, the Mustangs motor would work good...then it might keep up with all the others, and an extended cab version...
EDIT: and it seems awfully close to looking like the Mazda

i guess i just meant the headlights, but yeah the grille is awesome, i wish they'd make em real chrome instead of the plastic they use...the badges and the narrower(in height) headlights is what got me

I hear that the 06 is the last year before the major redesign. As for the Mazda, it's the same truck as a Ranger. Or were you just joking?? For folks like me who want a 4x4, very decent power, extra cab, and a nice interior the Ranger does the job just fine. I shopped the other trucks and you might get a bit more interior room but they were all about $2K more then the Ranger. I like my 05 just fine.
Oh, and with the mods available, the horsepower can go up more.
