Wheels for Laser Red GT?

Hey guys, sorry i havent been around latley, Been working and on MF most of the Time. I Need some new tires so i figured i would get new wheels while im at it.

What do you guys think?
1. Black Cobras with 10.5 out back
2. Black Saleens with 10 or 10.5 outback
3. Anthracite Bullitts with DD 10.5 out back ( my pick)

I plan for 10.5 out back because im going 4.10 before Christmas so gotta have some grip and it looks good lol. Latemodel has a great deal on a set of DD bullitts w/ tires for $899 + $15
for shipping

I assume you are wanting to stay with a 17x10.5 in the back, or are you open to 18x10 (like the Saleens?)

Out of the three you have listed . . .

1. 18x10 Saleens
2. 17x10.5 Cobras

3. Bullitts

Do you like the FR500 replica (Style 461) or the Older Saleen (Style 576)?

18x9, 18x10 Anthracite FR500 (with Mustang Center Caps) would look darn good (in my opinion) on your Laser Red GT. (Hyperblack Saleens would look good too.)

Here's what I have on my Laser Red 95. It came stock with the Tri-Bars. I switched to the Cobra R's. I now have 03 Cobra's. Chrome on all of the Cobras. I will put Black 18" Saleens on it in about 6 months though! I am going to redo my car completely!

Anthracite FR500 or Bullitts? And why no 18x9, 18x10? Are you getting the car lowered as well?

I like the look of 17's on the new edge cars, if it was a S197 i'd say 18 for sure.

i agree, if you have a GT go with the 17's and if your going to lower the car they 17's will fit. with 18's you would have to cut into the fender and thats when things get bad.

I have the Anthracite FR500 DD on my Laser Red 98 Cobra. My car is lowered quite a bit cant tell from the pics because there is no engine or tranny in the car when I took them. I do not have any clearance problems front or rear. Though I do not have any factory suspension components left on my car. If you look closely at the pic of the front wheels you can see my engine sitting there waiting to go back in

Please explain 'cutting into the fender.' I have 295/35/18 on a 18x10 rim in the rear and don't have to cut into my fender. Now I will most likely roll my rear fenders but I won't have to cut into them. And I have no issues in the front.

conv_stang . . . FR500s look great on your ride!
