I bought a red 1994 v6 M5 for a project/hobby car. I am currently talking to people about performance combinations(of course a crate engine is high on the list) but my question is about wheels. I want to put bullit rims on the car so here's my question...

Has anyone ever put 16's on the front with 17x10.5 on the back- or seen this combination. I'm looking for an agressive raked stance much like a prostock drag car look. I also want to lower the front almost to the ground and the back about 2 inches. I've decided this is going to be a show drag car. Any ideas or input is appreciated.

M5 = Manual 5speed
Sorry about that i think it must be from hanging out with too many gm guys! They always have say A4 or M5 or M6 as short forms.

 

I havent seen this combo, but in another thread i remember hearing guys say the different wheel size doesnt turn out as good as expected. id go with 17x9s in the front and 17x10.5 rear. Thatd be sweet IMO.

 

I wouldnt try a 16" bullitt for the front, even if you can find one. I'd go 17x9 in the front, and if you are dead set on a larger for hte rear, go 18x10.5 on the back. Thats gonna give it a meaty look.

I'm looking for more of a hotrod look a bit. If anyone has pictures of a combo like the 17" with 18" rears scott mentioned - i'd love to see it.

 

Of yeah by the way i saw the 16" at mrbodykit.com - so i know i could get them.

 

put 17's all the way around, and put on a set of springs to give you the rake you are looking for.
