I don't race or auto-x or anything. I've got a set of cheapo something or other on it now,and I wanna put a nice all-weather set of tires on it. Eagle GT's? Bridgestone Potenzas? What's the best recommendation for around 200 bucks a tire?

What size rims are you rolling on. If it's the stock 17x8 you can fit 275/40 on the back and 245/45 on the front for a staggered look but don't put 274/40 on the fronts. Too much lateral movement in the sidewall. It will negatively affect steering. They are great in the rear tho

BFGoodrich G-Force sports...i reccomend them to anyone, they handle fantastically, and they're cheap. I got mine for $115 ea mounted, balanced, with warranty.

Which ever tire brand you decide to buy, be sure you ask when the tires were made. Tires should be changed when they reach six years old. I only put 4000 miles a year on my mustang, so age not mileage is my concern. The four numbers in the rectangle on the tire; first two is the week and the last two is the year. Don't buy any tire that is to old.

Yea I got the g-force sports on mine and when they warm up a bit they stick like glue! It's actually a challenge to lose traction. They grip outstanding in wet weather too! Best bang for your buck. I'd Recommend 275 rears and 245 up front. Great stance and great handling.

I would say get some bfg gforce t/a kdws. I've had them for a long time and I really like them. They are a ultra high performance all season tire. Unfortuntly it looks like they are phasing them out which is a bummer.
