New to the site, thought this might be the best place to find what I'm looking for.
An O.E.M. Unused owners manual in the plastic bag for a 2001 GT/Bullitt.
Also need a new in the bag trunk cargo net, and a set of O.E.M wheel locks with the Mcgard paper ID slip.
If someone has a complete info/documentation package for one of these cars, I would consider that also.
I Surmise you are Trying to Duplicate Items As Supplied with New Car But Here are Some Options For You! Retail Packaging was Usually Different From As Supplied with New Car.
The Genuine Ford Accessory Wheel Lock Kit Should Be an F2LY-1A043-A. Rock Auto Lists them. You Might Check the Part Number with Local Dealer It Maybe Obsolete But Some Stock Still Out there!. I didn't Have Current Ford Parts Database to Check! Rock Auto & Ebay Lists them. I believe Little Slip Comes With Kit From Ford .See Last Listing. Also This Number May have Been Updated to Newer Ford Part Number. I Simply Don't Have Current Ford Dealer Parts Info. All the Online Catalogs have Conflicting Info.
I believe this is the Oem Cargo Net Part Number You are Looking For. Obsolete But you Could do a Saved Search on Ebay So if One Pops Up you will Get an Email.
I need these item to replace the originals that mice chewed, my car is an 01 Bullitt with 7.5 original miles (yes not a typo) and I only want original items. Surely there has got to be some documentation from a wrecked car out there somewhere.
The McGard wheel lock kits of today don't have the correct plastic storage bag and a different style key and label.
The manuals might be correct (not sure of print #) but I'm sure they don't come with the Ford plastic bag.
Unfortunately the Ebay listed cargo net has holes in it, and Im looking for one still sealed in the plastic bag.
Ya, I knew the Items were Close but Not Exact. I may Have The EI Bag & a OEM Lockset Stashed Somewhere. Question is Where. 35 Years in Ford Parts I collected a Lot of Stuff & It is Here & There. If I stumble Upon it I will Post. Have you got the Ford Promo Poster for the 01 Bullit? I may Have Some Of Those as Well! They Ask Big Bucks for Them on Ebay.
The EI bag and the owners manual were chewed up a little, the maintenance guide was untouched. I do have the Promo poster, and the lock set was missing from the car when I got it. Not sure what happened to it over the years, seems odd that everything else was there.
I never thought of other models using the same bag and lock set, good call. Keep me updated if you find anything.
On another note, do you have any Maverick or Comet parts?
2001 Owners Manual
Anti-theft lug nuts (if equipped) If your vehicle is equipped with this feature, one of the lug nuts on each wheel must be removed and replaced with a special key. The key and registration card are attached to the lug wrench and stored with the spare tire. If you lose the key, send the registration card to the manufacturer (not the dealer) to get a replacement key. If the lug wrench/lug nut key assembly is lost, see your nearest Ford or Lincoln/Mercury dealer who has access to the master set of keys. Do not use an impact wrench with the anti-theft key.
The Locking Sets Were Optional. It Would be on Window Sticker if So Equipped. Just Wondering if it Came with them. I always ordered my Cars with them But Never Put them On.
Looks Like the Car Never Went Through PDI. I did my Own on my 07 gt-500 And Saved all the Stickers & Such. So What is the Story on this Car!
I was Looking at the Ebay Listings For Wheel Locks and I am Finding Some Have the Wrong Wheel Lock Picture Shown. If you get one with the Correct Picture I believe it Has the Serrated Key Like the Old Days. I believe it will Have the Lost Lock Card Info in Back Section. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33449508797...Bk9SR6TXmrbpYA
Now the Newer Mustang Ones Show a Different Key and Double Lines on the Lugs but Have the Same Old Style Bag. So Two Items to Do the Deed But Just Showing you an Option. https://www.ebay.com/itm/275278370551

Story is: The car was sold new by Barber Brothers Ford in Morgan Utah. I don't know who original purchased it, there was no bill of sale with the car, It was never registered in the U.S. An RV dealer here in Canada took it on trade on a new diesel coach in 2006. It was imported through NIVIS (which is only for dealers of new unregistered vehicles) with 6 miles on it. He put the car in one of his buildings with the intentions of driving it, and never got to it. About 4 years ago he sold the building, and continued to store the car there. 3 years ago, I started storing one of my cars at the same location, that's when I first saw the Mustang. I looked at it twice a year for 3 years, then I reached out to the owner, he said "it wasn't for sale". After a long discussion about how he wasn't storing it correctly and is neglecting such a rare find with only 7.5 miles, he agreed with me. He then said he had no time for it, and decided to sell it to me. Ive had it for 3 months now, and have spent most of the time cleaning dust and cobwebs from ever square inch on the car, oil change, and draining the gas, the usual stuff.
I did call the original dealer for a copy of the original bill of sale. unfortunately they were bought out by another auto group and don't have any of the old files.
