Today is a good day

Picked up a 98 Nissan Sentra yesterday as a beater to take back and forth to work. My drive is 40 miles each way so gas has been killing me on the Stang.

Now she can take her rightful place in the left bay of my garage. No more rain or snow. No more parking lots or construction zones. No more missing Friday street nights at the track because I didn't have enough time to get home from work and switch my rear tires. And best of all, no more not mdding the car on weekends since I had to drive it on Monday! Once I scrape some cash together, I can finally start taking the car to where I want it to be.

I've never been so happy to not drive a car before.

Yeah, they cut up and oil the roads here in the fall so the front of the car got killed with stone chips. Guess I'll just need to get a cobra bumper and new hood to correct that.

Going forward, nothing gets replaced unless the replacement is an upgrade. That's a luxury I didn't have when I needed to drive it to work everyday.
