Thoughts on headlights

I bought my car with angle eye projectors The covers were painted and pretty scratched/ fogged up. Should I buy a new set or a one piece crystal black set? Your thoughts please

Personally I hate the one piece. I would got with either black or chrome cobras. Just not one piece.

No higher than 5000k. My first set of HIDs were 8000k and I just when I think about it. Every set since has been 5000k 55w kits.

8000k is terrible. Ricer blue, and has less usable light than the stock halogen. Blue light adds glare too.

This. My buddy had 8k in his stock housings on his jeep. I always made him drive in front because his lights would just cause sooooo much glare in my mirrors. And they barely lit up the road more than the halogens in my car

5k HIDs are the brightest available if I remember right. They are the closest to pure white you can get.

4300k is brightest, but 5000k is pure white. 4300k still has just a hint of yellow tint, but it's pretty much the same color as the sun. I prefer 5000k...
