Temperature Gauges moving 96 GT

Temperature Gauges moving 96 GT

I notice a few days a go the my temperature gauge is moving up
Im not losing coolant
I change the thermostat
Once my temperature go up the fan come on and the needle go back to normal

Well... your engine got hot. The fan came on, and cooled it a bit.

That does seem to be quite a bit though...If it's doing that now, is it gonna be able to handle summer?

Did you check the fan's two speed function? It sort of looks like the low setting for the cooling fan isn't working that well. It really should not be getting that high if there is normal air flow and fan operation. At least not this time of year. You say the fan comes on and it goes down, it seems like it's getting to the trigger point for high speed fan operation and that's what's working to cool the engine.

Another possibility is restricted airflow through the rad. It's not pulling enough on low fan to cool but still can pull enough on high.

Lot's of crap builds up on the front of the radiator (blocked from view by the AC's heat exchanger) Unscrew the two top brackets and take look in there with a flash light and see if it needs cleaning.

My water pump start to leaking a few days a go so I change it and now the temp is back to normal Between the R&M
