Someone hit my car. Again.

In my work parking lot...for the SECOND time in a month.

After i got hit the first time, (it took the paint off, all the way to the metal, on the driver side corner of my front bumper)...i stopped parking in the parking spots, and started parking in the parallel parking area. Only about 6 cars can fit there...but our parking is so minimal, there's at least 4 of us in the fire lane every day....so that's where ive been...well yesterday...people were already almost out the gate parked in the fire lane...so im like, well i drive down here and park at the end of building, not in a parking spot, just lined up with the other cars... OH! but i see an empty parking spot!! With plenty of room for me to straighten up and back right in... So i do...noticing that on my passenger side, is one of our company vehicles, and on my driver side...a big freakin white truck, backed in also. They're both parked pretty close to the line...and knowing no one's gonna get into the passenger side of the company car, i park as close i can to it, and far enough away from the big white truck so i can get out of my car... and i always..ALWAYS think when i park next to big vehicles....ugh, i hope he doesnt hit me pulling out... SURE ENOUGH!!!!!! I worked late last night, nobody else was parked around me when i left...and i notice this decent sized crystalized looking area on my driver side fender. Upon further inspection....the clear coat is scratched off, and it's down to the metal in a few spots...it's not HUGE, but ITS THE PRINCIPLE of the matter. i WORK with these people. my car is HIGHLY recognizable here, and everyone knows it's mine. WHY DONT PEOPLE TELL ME THESE FREAKING THINGS!!!!!! So i text messaged my boss, highly ticked off at this point...and tell him what happened and asked how rude it would be if i sent out a mass email, because i was THAT ticked off. He told me not to, and we'd look into it today. SO...i dont know what we're going to do...but ive been at work for 45 minutes, and i havent seen my boss yet... but if we dont find out anything...i WILL send out an email... or have HR do it...because his truck was hit too, and no one told him, and his fender was TORE up. I start shaking when i talk about it cause it makes me so furious. Someone needs to repaint my fender...this dillhole or the company...i dont care. but it's really getting ridiculous! /rant

Sounds like there is some hope for your situation.
It still shouldn't have happened.
I get kidded sometimes for never parking my car at work.
I've driven around the lot to show it to people and then taken it back home (short trip).
I'd rather be kidded than damaged.

I'm sorry to hear about that! I get really sick of how disrespectful people are too! My sister crashed her bike into mine while I was waxing it, and put a good scratch into the paint. My grandpa also parked his stupid camry next to it for no good reason, and then a bunch of my little cousins decided to play in his car, and smashed the rear door into the wheel flare, with him right there!

Was there any white paint on your car? Otherwise they'll probably just say someone else hit your car...

Let us know what happens - it would be soooo satisfying to read for once that they fessed up and you got your car fixed!

Thankfully I work somewhere where we are ALL **** about our rides, so I never worry about getting dinged/hit there. It's pretty funny - we have a huge parking lot and all the employees park in one particular section. For the longest time each of us parked directly on top of a space marker so we each had 2 spaces, backed in, of course. Can't do that anymore, too many people, but we each still have our "own" spot, and heaven help the new employee who tries to park in a spot that's not "theirs"!

I know the feeling a while back my idiot sister-in-law backed into my passenger side door and fender she offered to pay for it untill I got back with a $2600 estimate from the body shop. and insurance wouldn't pay because both my car and the one she was in was under the same policy so I was stuck footing the bill.
who knew a door was 900 hundred dollars?

Must be nice.
My place has about 8 huge parking lots and by 8am it is hard to find a space.
There used to be more parking, but they sold off a "little" lot in the back.
It was big enough to put up a Costco Store on it.

teeelll me about it! however...they're supposed to be building a new parking lot this month...and it should at least eliminate the crowded parking...but that wont eliminate people from being rude...
