If you have run at the track go ahead and post up your time(s). If you have not run her plan to do so in '08!

They're passable, and 14.745 is not what i call "mid"

I call it "high 14s"

Then again, I compare myself to the best test i could find online, whcih was about 13.somethingish lol. Maybe im being hard onmyself

Though, I did beat a pretty fast truck today, maybe im getting better...

pre 99 sn95. but in 99+ a GT should be good for a low 14 at just under 100.

What altitude is the track at near you Arin? 94 is extremely slow trap. My stock 99 GT used to trap 99mph.

Also just a tip, a stock GT will end the 1/4 mile in 3rd gear no need to waste time shifting to 4th.

Yeah, I remember you telling me that my shifting into 4th is what killed me. The track I was at was Infineon Raceway, and google says its at sea level.

I'm hoping to go whenever Arin goes next (he doesn't know yet). Any tips and tricks for a 94 GT? Shift points, what times I should expect, etc? Lemme know.

Shift between 5500-5800 rpm. Dead stock, with a good driver, high 14. I remember when the 94 came out, 14.9 was what Ford claimed and what most magazines averaged.

Went out last Sunday. Car is consistently running 12.50s. Beat up on 2 GTOs and a 04 Vette. The Vette owner came up to later in the staging lanes and tried to argue with me about who won. I beat him by about 1.5 - 2 car lengths. He had a slightly better time his 12.50 to my 12.51 but I had to remind him this wasn't bracket racing.

Best race I had all day was an 02 SS with H/C/I on 28" slicks. We were pretty much even until the 1/8. He had more hp and pulled on the big end. He ran a 12.23 to my 12.50. Must have surprised him because he came up to me later and congratulated me and said my car ran really good. Not to shabby for a little 281 with a few bolt-ons.

You had better call me up when you go. Did you need some sort of parental signing to let you race, or were you already 18?
