Here's my '96 GT that added the Saleen body kit to. The work included:

new paint
new wing
new front facia
new rear facia
new side skirts
Cobra wheels
Removed GT emblems and added Pony decals
painted the rear tailights black

Any thoughts/comments?? I've been considering lowering fill-up the wheel wells, but I want to stick the 17" wheels I've got. Any ideas?

The powertrain remains stock GT and have no real plans to change. As a weekend car on the road off the track, the stock GT has enough power to get me in trouble already .

Could you give us a straight on picture of the rear? Trying to figure out if I like what I see there below the bumper. Looks like a lot of badonkadonk going on between the pipes?

Here's a picture of the rear. The facia from Saleen fit very well around the existing pipes. No modifications or tweaking was needed at all.

I like the front fascia, still undecided on the back end. One of those things you gotta just see in person I think to appreciate. And I think a very nice paint color choice too!

Looking good. Little undecieded about the look from the rear but as already mentioned needs to be seen in person. Would change headlights though.

MUSTANG + EXTRA HP = MORE TROUBLE<MORE FUN

Maybe that's why he replaced the GT emblems with ponies. Instant sleeper! Looks like a kitted V6, but runs like a GT.

I don't like the pony emblem idea, but to each his own, and on the back I'd swap the exhaust and then re-align it for sure! Otherwise, VERY nice!

I'd toss a cat-back on there at least... make it sound mean! Nice job though, I'd lower it about an inch all around...

Thanks for the comments guys. Regarding the pony emblems, I had thought about putting on Saleen emblems, but didn't want it to be called a "fake" saleen. And I thought the new body work warranted a bit more than "GT" status, so I settled for the classic pony emblem, which fits it nicely. I still have the Cobra wheel caps on it, but I don't think most people even notice. I haven't found pony caps.

Any recommendations for a lowering kit? I've toyed with the idea but never went ahead with it.
