I think I've decided as far as exterior looks that I am going to upgrade my 2003 Ford Mustang v6 to a Roush Stage 1 Mustang (appearence mods) only. I saw one at the local Wal-Mart yesterday and was amazed the way this kit looks. Pictures don't really to it justice, it's amazing in person. In any case I noticed the kit requires their side exhaust kit which I'm too sure I want to do. I really prefer to run duals out the back (and actually look at getting an 03 Cobra rear bumper or 03 Cobra replica rear bumper without the embossed Cobra emblem). So my question is this, is there any one out their that are replicating the Roush side skirts without cutouts for the side exhaust and am I just stuck? I know the front sits lower than the stock side skirts so even if I kept the stock side skirts while only getting the front the car wouldn't really look symmetrical so I'm wondering what my options are. If I have to do the side exhaust that's fine but my preference is to run duals out the back.

Any thoughts?

 

i converted mine last year, i went with the stage 3 look with the front side and rear kits. i love the look of the side exhaust. the only problem was for me was the sound facter. i love loud exhaust but this was way to quiet. they give u stainless steel magnaflow, but u can get flow master for a better sound. im not to sure if this is the same with a v6 though. if i was u i would get the stage 3 or the 2.

That's exactly what I saw at Wal-Mart yesterday. The kit is sharp I'm just not too enthralled with the side exhaust option and running the car without the side exhaust with the side skirts just makes the car look silly. So I'll just probaby have to buy the front separately, then find some good looking aftermarket side skirts or just do the complete Stage 2 upgrade. I really like the look of this kit as a whole and spent a good portion on my time yesterday looking for dealers who sell it.

if u get the front u can get the stage 2 side skirts, so u can have the back exhaust. if u need a place to order them i can show u

 

Lol, Red Star, I saw a Stage 2 Roush with side exhaust sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot...Wal-Mart doesn't sell body kits...but I think if you give them 10 years they will probably will, right along with cars since they sell everything else including gas (at least in my area).

the gauges lunar series gauges, they light up green, ill take some pictures of my car at night, i have some mustang neon letters door sills too. ill have them tomorrow night
