Rim Weight
I've been told that the one of the best ways to make a car go faster is by losing "moving" weight. Meaning losing weight on the parts that move(ie rims) rather than just removing seats or spare tire.
I believe the Steeda "Ultra Lite" rims are like 21lbs 17X9, but I'm looking at some black bullitts that are 23lbs 17X9. So the Steeda total weight is 84lbs, and the bullitts are 92 combined. Which doesn't look that bad after seeing chrome Mach1s making a 148lb total(37 for 17X9).
For the price the bullitts seem like a good deal $115 compared to $199 per rim.
It doesn't seem that the Steedas are a "true" light weight rim. Does anyone know a good weight for a rim.......avoiding welds of course.
