So are you all into this because of the competition alone? I'm sure that you can get along with having the "same car as your neighbor's nephew". Come on dude...

just saw this, but it is a real Bullitt. the one sure fire way to tell is the roof pillars on the quarter glass. they are rounded over the quarter glass, and the new edge cars just drop off at the body. i had Bullitt #2462 for about 3 months and sold it, i have regretted selling that car more than any other car i have ever owned. i learned a lot about Bullitts in those few months, one of the best sites to check any and all Bullitt info on is www.imboc.com.

yeah, but it's not like most people would even think about that if trying to "copy" the Bullitt. there are people who would, but for the most part, i don't think so.

I dont think anyone would try that intensively to recreate the car, and then sell it for that. And also be careful with the power, I'm not much older than yourself, but Ive seen some of my friends get too cocky, and wreck, and they were driving pos corollas or camrys and stuff like that.

trust me, you can wreck any car, not just one with a v-8. an unexperienced driver with a honda is just as dangerous as one with a mustang. good luck to you and enjoy the Bullitt, you won't be sorry...

That was exactly my thinking when I first got the car. Little by little though, you will get overconfident and do rather stupid things, if you aren't careful.

Trust me on that one

burnouts and donuts after track practice nearly got me booted from the team and could have ended alot worse if my coach wasn't so forgiving, and that was with a V6 Mustang II with all of 105 hp. I'm a much better driver these days but I still get myself into somewhat sticky situations in the Bullitt. That car is quite powerful for a new driver
