is this a real bullitt?

Me and my dad are looking and seriously considering buying this car. But i will always check with you guys before i purchase a mustang.
it looks real to me, no fog light things but then look at the exhaust tips and the grill.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...QQcmdZViewItem

i think its a decent deal if it is a REAL bullitt, not a bad car for a 16 year old

Looks real to me. The chrome grille thing is aftermarket, as are the tan floormats, and frankly, both have to go lol

And I can attest to the fact that its a great car Price is ok, given the miles. I'm not a fan of those miles, but then again, I'm biased.

Hope all goes well and you get yourself a nice Bullitt

I would ask to see an engine bay shot (just to verify the bullitt intake, which is one of the most significant changes in the car).

Also engine bay shot you will be able to see if the engine bay is clearcoated. Prob one of the hardest things to fake since you'd have to remove the engine to do it. but doing bull DHG paint would have been jsut as hard.

I would get a carfax on it.

The chrome corral on the front grille is incorrect, it should be flat black. That points out to being replaced because of preferance or damage.

Don't forget the ID plates, one in the engine bay and one under the rear seat.

Instead of replacing the grille, just get a grille delete kit It'll look much nicer

You could, but its not as pretty. There are tons of places where you can get a Mach 1 Grille Delete kit and it looks clean. Shouldnt be more than $100 or so IIRC

I ran a carfax for you. According to Carfax, the bad news is it has had four owners, the good news is it has never been wrecked or had other significant damage and has spent its entire life in SC/NC.

No, definitely a horrible car for a 16 year old.

You should go for something like a 94 V6. That way I would feel superior.

In all actuality, that looks like an awesome car for a kid our age. Try not to kill yourself.

Good luck bro!

Peter's right on that last statement. Be careful when you start driving with gusto, and until you are VERY VERY used to driving fast cars, make sure traction control stays on lol.

This car likes to go, and if you aren't careful you could make a mess of metal. We'd all apprecieate it if you didn't lol

Enjoy the car!
