New to the Mustang scene..

Hey everybody. I just bought a 1995 3.8l v6 mustang, bone stock on craigslist and i really want to do some things to it. (especially after looking at how little horsepower it has) i needed to replace the muffler so i threw in a flowmaster 40 series in it and was disapointed at how quiet it was. is this because its just a single exhaust and not dual? and is there anything i can do to make it louder without spending much money? i was also wondering what is the cheapest way besides n20 to gain some additional horespower?? i was very disapointed to know that my mustang only has 150hp lol .. all advice will b appriciated

Cheapest power is always boost. I don't know what the options are for boosting the old 3.8, but that's where I would look first. Good luck!

I'd put in a H-pipe and turn it into dual exhaust. Ive had dual on my 03v6 for the past couple years, and definitely one of my favorite mods for the money. I also removed the pair of cats behind the O2 censor, but that may not be an option depending on your state emissions.

Throwing on a cold air intake doesn't take very long and won't run too high in price. It's not a drastic add on but compliments the dual exhaust.
