Congrats! They are pretty slick and sound nice stock.

Off topic cause I didnt want to start another thread and since you own a new Cobra now, I have a very unique question I am puzzled about.

I saw a new Mustang today and noticed something that didnt make since. It had the GT on the truck emblem thing but on the side, just behind the front tire, it had the Cobra emblem. Is there something I am missing or do some come like this? I didnt have time to ask the guy what the deal was.

It was someone screwing around with badges if I had my guess... fake cobra if you will.

Congrats on getting the cobra Lindsay! Get pics ASAP.. also if you jump 20ft in the air, get pics of that as well, because we wont believe you.

I once raced an 03 Cobra... in my V-6!!!!!!!!
It was great- I thought I heard an old muscle car, got closer, and it was a new Cobra. He obviously changed the exhaust- this thing was LOUD. So we both turned on the same deserted street, I rolled down the window, rolled next to him for a while, and then I heard this 'wwwwwwhhhhhhiiiiiiiinnnnneeeeeeeeeee.' Couldn't think what it was, until the darn car TOOK OFF. It was terrifying to be that close to that much power. Eventually (seemed like 20 minutes!) I caught him at a stop light. He said "hey- nice car you got there!" I was dumbfounded (like getting praise from God!). I said thanks, and then he took off again.

...and so I cry myself to sleep every night now.

And, yes, she does have that much power...it's exhilarating to drive her. We've been spending a lot of quality time together!!!

Needless to say, it is a very fine day when you can get your hands on a 2003 or 2004 Cobra.. I'm quite sure you understand the implications for yourself, should your ability to keep the car for another 10 or 20 years.. I would say you have made a very wise investment.. Even a 2005 Mustang wont be able to rival the re-sale value of that car.. A GT500 most likely will.. But at any rate, your a very practical business person!
