Need some help with questions...

ill try and make it as short as i can. im a newby at mods and just needed some questions answered. i just had upper/lower rear control arms, sport springs, front & rear swaybars, front strut tower brace, intake spacer, UDP's, 70mm throttle body, bump steer kit, and SCT tune. all STEEDA products except for the TB and tune. i am hearing a lot of rattle noise from the front and pinging of the valves. yes, i did call the place that installed them and they are sending me a new tune thinking that the timing is off a little, and that is maybe causing the pinging. what im not sure about is the spings i had all around. my springs in the back are compressed completely in the top (about 3 coils all together). i dont know if this is normal but when i make some turns and go into my driveway or when i start out turning slow, i hear some grinding coming from the back. i will be calling them back on monday but i wanted to make sure that i have a legitimate complaint or if its something i am going to have to live with. any help is appreciated, and if you need more info, just email me. it just sounds like the whole car is off on something but im not intelligent enough to know what it is. help please???

The coils being close together is normal. We have an article on our website that explains why, but essentially the short progressive section at the top of the spring is designed to keep the proper upper spring perch loading, even when the suspension unloads. So it is a low rate and collapses under load, but expands when the suspension system unloads enough to keep the spring properly loaded in the upper perch.

On the pinging they should definitely have them look at your tune. Also make sure you are running the proper octane fuel. If you have 87 in the tank and they gave you a 91 octane tune its going to ping.
