A cai will only give you around 8-10hp.

Yeah there is no way you will see anywhere over 10hp with a CAI. Not sure where you read people getting 30.

People get a good amount of power with a Cai on the s197's but most of that comes from a tune that they have to have. You will not see anything like those numbers. 5HP would be surprising.

Congratulations on your new Mustang! Post up some pictures, we'd love to check it out and follow along with your build.

This is definitely a great first mod. You're going to notice gains in power, torque, throttle response and engine noise! On an SN95 GT you won't see gains of 30+ HP but it's still a beneficial mod. You'll most likely see 8-10 RWHP from this CAI, if you pair it together with a tune you'll see some larger gains!

Let me know if you have any questions!

as for the CAI for 80.00 i cant go wrong

and i did double check it does say up to 30HP/50TQ dont really care much really as long as i can stop the hot air intake im happy ( it was in the american muscle 1994-2004 Mustang catalog i just got) how does one clean change the filter though ... im not taken my fender on and off
