Last week I was out of town on vacation (and my college orientation); while out of town Hurricane Dennis had a direct hit on us here in Gulf Breeze. We had several people call us while we were away saying that a tree missed my car by inches. Here are a few pictures we took when we got back. There's a scratch on my hood and some on my trunk, but my car is safe. I got lucky.

*Phew* That was close! That one branch is only about 6 inches from your bumper. The big man smiled favorably upon you that day! Glad to hear everyone and everything are okay.

Yeah, I was definetely lucky. Before we left on our trip my mom moved her car (tan car behind mine in 2nd picture) back in the driveway. She told me that she thought it would be safer there, I said ok but didn't move mine back (since it was fine after Hurricane Ivan I never expected it to fall.) My parents were lucky because most of the branches were sitting to the right of mine where they park either of their cars. I'm glad to say that my '82 stang was fine, you can just make it out in 2nd picture, it's the 3rd car in line.
