I thought I got lucky with finding a cobra since it said mustang on the rear cover

My 95 gt build/progress-image-1723241557.jpg

Powered by svt by the brake booster

My 95 gt build/progress-image-781726922.jpg

And even had white face gauges with a svt on the tach

My 95 gt build/progress-image-1395753081.jpg

So I ordered the svt badge kit. Unfortunately I don't have the all mighty "D" in the vin. Oh well Clone it is

2-2-13. Decided to fix the odometer. Cleaned and replaced the gears, swapped lights for blue LEDs . Reinstalled in the car, now the speedo don't work. :::bang head:::::

Ticked off and keeping with the cobra theme, I found a 94-95 cobra cluster and bought it. Installed 2-9-13 with the blue LEDs

2-19-13. I bought a set of 96-97 cobra wheels. I like the bark inserts vs the 94-95 silver inserts

What a miserable couple days till I got them out of my truck

Those wheels really lightened it up. Do you have exhaust?

Everything on the car is stock. Trying to decide on what to do Bbk long tube or shorties, x or h pipe cat delete (I'm leaning toward x because I'm thinking electric cut outs) Flowmasters or slp loudmouths with 3 inch tips

Car looks great. Love the wheels and wing.

As for the exhaust, I like the h-pipes because of the deeper tone you get and the SLPs would get my vote over the flows. As for headers, are you planning any more mods in the future? The reason I ask is longtubes don't tend to live up to their potential until you get some more hp. Shorties will do just fine.

If you're considering shorties, don't. They really don't make a difference in flow volume or velocity. Ford did really well with the factory manifolds.

Yeah. End goal for mods is a 331 blown (or turbo. Undecided) stroker. I like the simpleness of the supercharger

In that case, wait on the long tubes until you build your motor (unless you need to have them now). Like BackPressure said, the stock manifolds are very good so just stick with them until your motor is built.

It sounds like I have a slight exhaust leak on the passenger side. Maybe it's just gaskets

I am having problems starting and the car shutting off going down the road Just called summit racing, since I'm not going to make it there before they close, and ordered a summit pro billet dizzy and ford racing 9mm plug wires. What plugs do you recommend? Regular auto lites or ngks?
