Ok guys, i've had my car for roughly a month now and im ready to start modding it. i want to get to atleast 300 RWHP, could some of you guru's help me out?
I was thinking

What's your budget? You should always have a budget in mind and the means to get to it afore the plan. Look what happened with my II
You wouldnt need a new block, that will not ad power, and for a non FI motor, seems rather useless.
I'm not a guru, but I'm inclined to think that LT headers, pulleys, CAI, slightly (not too big) larger Throttlebody, cams and a good tune woud get you pretty close to 300rwhp.
I'm probably not the best guy to get advice from, given recent events, but make sure you can really handle the car as it is and as it will be. You're a young driver like me and the last thing either of us want is to build a car thats too powerful for us to drive. You dont want to hurt your baby like I did
Enough of that though
You might also want to keep things like good tires and a shifter on your list too, bec things like that will for sure improve the driving experience

If you want to stay naturally aspirated, you will need basically every bolton you can buy unless you go with a power adder of some kind. With the following mods you will be right in the ball park without pulling cylinder heads off.
You will need the following:
-Long tube headers
-H or X pipe with single pair of cats/no cats
-cat-back exhaust
-Throttle body
-plenum
-custom tune
-high flow air filter/silencer removal
or CAI
-possibly underdrives(not worth much though)
-stage 1 or stage 2 cam shafts

The Bullitt was in a wreck last Sunday night. Read the end of the Bullitt #3006 thread.
why does everyone always shoot for horsepower...i shoot for the 1/4 mile....dyno number dont mean jack.
i dont know exactly what will get you there...a many different number of combinations... but if you look at my modlist, it's all the basic bolt ons...i havent had it dynoed with the current catback and the tb/plenum, but i dont imagine it'd be much higher.... probably one of the only bolt ons im missing is like heads/cams... but i can run a 12.9 in the 1/4...im happy. lol

On any other races not from a dig. the camaro will walk you.
And if you can do a 12.9 with 280hp or whatever then with 300rwhp you should do better.

I got 284rwhp and 298 rwtq with this combo:
- VT Stage 1 N/A cams
- Steeda pullies
- BBK long tube headers
- BBK catted shorty X-pipe
- Magnaflow catback
- dyno tuned with a DiabloSport Predator
I'll be adding a Trick Flow plenum, Ford Racing TB and a cold air to equation soon, that should put me above 300rwhp.

Good luck, lol!
That might be difficult, Mach 1's were never came in Redfire (but that probably would have looked cool). Having one prepainted somewhere and shipped to you would be pretty tough it seems to me, due to the crating that would be involved with shipping, handling, etc. Your best bet would probably be to buy one then have it painted locally that way you can almost be assured the finish would be blemish free and would match your car.
the important thing is you got a 99-up GT. I remember when i had a 300 hp "goal" for my 97' GT and the guy at my local speed shot said well if thats your goal trade this in and get a 99'
. Long story short he was right and i bought an 03' cobra insted........
