I haved been married for 2 years next month. For an aniversary present I get to order a mod for the stang. This is coming as a shock to me is you read a thread I started a few days ago.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=49976

I just dont know which one to go with.
Make note from my signature on the mods I have installed already. Leaning towards the tuner myself but I want EVERYBODYS opinion. That means that YOU!!!

Thanks people.

I vote for the tuner. The power gains are great from my experience.

My question is though, what do you want more from the car? Better handling on the street, or more power.

As was said, it depends on what kind of performance youre looking for. I have the Tra-Ax, and I love it. It's a lot quicker when shifting and 3rd gear is incredibly easy to 'find'. It will definitely clean up the shifting aspect of your driving in all areas. However...

I voted for the X-Cal. I love the shifter, but I'd like to get some some more performance out of my car. I will be getting one soon, but I still have to decide what kind of tunes to get (octane, torque/perf, etc.). If it's as good as promised, I will be very happy and you'll be happy with one too.

I voted for the springs. As I always say,

What's the Use of Performance If You Don't have Good Handling

I want more power thats why I want the tuner.
However I want to sound a littlem more mean with a little extra performance.
But I hate the 'throw' on the stock shifter badly.
Springs are just a bonus.

Like the lean towards the tuner.
Keep the votes coming.

Well teh shifter will defintely add more fun appeal to driving the car. Can't go wrong with any of the mods you have listed to be honest with ya.

I'd hold off on the tuner...it'll make your future mods more efficient.

I like the shifter and springs. Shifter improves the overall drive, and springs get rid of that 4X4 stock look.

Dont forget with springs, you'll need an alignment about 2 weeks after they are installed. They need to settle a bit in order to be in thier perm. location.

And with the springs, you can only drop so much with out changing the angle of the suspension, making the handling worse. I think the limit is about 1.25-1.5 inches in the front and 1 inch in the back.

You can drop it farther, but you'll run the risk of needing extra parts, like Caster Camber plates in order to keep your front end in alignment

Thinking maybe holding off on the springs just because I think I should really go all out, may as well change what I can with handeling all in one go. Thanks for the advise with the springs Scott and Dan.

Suprised nobody voted for the H pipe and more suprised that nobody had any other ideas on something else to purchase.
