thanks guys - i ordered it brand new in nov 95 - picked it up march 96 - been modding it ever since - it makes 300 rwhp N/A and runs 13.2x@107.xx 1.9x 60 ft - in the 1/4 mile - on BFG DR's - i think if i bolt on my ET streets - i can hit 12.8x

i think 12.8x from a strickly bolt-on 96 cobra vert would be fairly impressive

You defintely got the MPH for a 12!!! Just out of curiosity, what all mods have you done?

mods to make HP:

front to back

K&N filter
C&L 80mm mass air meter
March underdrive pullies
BBK twin 62mm TB
SHM LT headers
SHM catted shortie h-pipe
SHM superchips chip
FlowMaster 2-chamber cat-back
4.30 gears (13.232 pass was made with 4.10 - really havent run it with the 4.30 yet)

car is actually lowered on DECH/Eibach springs and 2001 Bullitt Tokico shocks and struts - so suspension really isnt set up for weight transfer - if it ws the car would be even quicker

hmm I'm not that far behind ya in mods. Just lacking the LT's, pullies and chip. Best i've mustered is a 13.6@103.9 on really bald BFG dr's. (bald meaning no visible tread). I am about to start running 26x8.5x15 mt e/t drags though so thats gonna help ALOT. Also the 100 shot I have should help

well my goal is 12's in street trim and with a heavy vert - my ET Streets will get me there

the LT's were my giggest HP gainer - i dynoed the car back to back - the headers/h-pipe swap alone netted me 22 rwhp
