How's the mgw compared to the old shifter? I'm really thinking of getting a mgw.

Worlds better than the Steeda. So much smoother and more precise!

Visually, my mods are done. Only things I'm gonna do is retint it and repaint the front bumper and the peel spot. I'm a fan of the stock hood so that's staying.

Mod-wise is nothing new. Unless you count new axle bearings and seals as a mod lol

My parents are shipping my spare Teksid block and Cobra crank I've had in storage out in California. Over time the next year or so I'll be building my N/A motor. Once I secure a new daily driver (looking at Contour SVTs and Focus SVTs), the Cobra will be on a weight loss and handling mod program

Tentative engine plans:
- .020 over Teksid block
- 10:1 compression
- '03/'04 9 thread heads, ported and polished
- short runner Mach 1 intake
- Comp 106100 cams

Suspension is up in the air but with Steeda about 4 hours south of me, I have a feeling they will be a heavy influence in my suspension choices

And yes, my black interior swap will be finished soon lol.

Your engine plans are pretty much the same as mine for the '00 once I get around to her. Want to build a nice streetable, legal, N/A 4v.

Just meant that I'll probably go with a catted X and mild tune.

Nice. I just took the expensive approach to avoiding smog - moved to a state without emissions

new seatage

these suckers popped up on Craigslist this past sunday for an even trade for black leather stockers. One has a factory non power track, the other a custom track that gives better legroom. Tomorrow I'm gonna put the custom track in the drivers side and test it out

better pics tomorrow
