Lug Nuts

Lug Nuts

Could loose lug nut caps cause any vibration in the wheels ?

I thought that a lug nut is one solid piece as in one per lug x five I suppose if one whole nut was not there then travelling faster that it may be no longer balanced ? cause when the wheel is balanced they are all there right !

I think what he means is the cover over the lug nuts like on the tri-bars or split spokes on 94-98 GT's. If that is the case I would have to say... No. Those could not cause vibrations.

I just had 3 break off of my front RH wheel. I just thought it was they did not tighten them. Never thought about that happening.
