*Yawn* Once again LSx power is beyond Ford

 

In before someone *****es about Chevy power in a Mustang blah blah blah.

It's quite a bad *** ride, I love it.

 

I'd personally slap the person up side the head for ruining a Mustang. If you like the Chevy motor so much go get a Camaro. Its not just a Mustang but tearing up a Cobra Mustang is just stupid. Could have bought a generic V6 car instead

 

My thoughts exactly. I dont mind that they did it, but Why would you tear up a Cobra like that? There are plenty of new edge V6s and even Gts floating around.

Its not a Cobra unless the guy went to expense of putting anniversary pony emblems on the side of the car.


Probably just a V6 is it lacks a lot of the other Cobra equipment, besides putting an LSx in a Cobra defeats the purpose of go fast cheap. If the car wasn't a basket case to begin with and/or the owner didn't own an actual Cobra to chop up then he would be spending a fair amount of coin just getting a Cobra to cut up where a GT or V6 would be much cheaper even if made into a Fauxbra.


Also in the not really news section of the news - another forced induction car goes fast - world not really shocked.

 

What happens is you get a car in the 8's that nobody cares about. When you could've used a Ford Motor and got it in the 8's.

 

Got a local guy down here in 8's with a '14 GT. Blown automatic A/C daily driver. Kinda makes you wonder why do the swap unless all the pieces were free. There's so many better bodies to throw that engine combination in.
