Just bad luck -__-

I bought my first mustang about 7 months ago, and due to my young age, I let a case of the wants have myself end up with a p.o.s mustang that was completely beat up, I spent 2 months doing body work and sanding and paint prepping, I painted it in my dads garage, got it all pollished up drive it for 4 days and the **** motor ceased up, this car fights me on everything, who wants it! I'll pay you to take it! Hahah but all in all you guys think I came out ok? Considering I had never done body work or painted a car b4

Always nice to see an older model given some TLC. They are still nice looking cars to me.

Yeah this one needed more than tlc, the original black pictures do no justice, looked like somebody beat it with a baseball bat and then washed it with dirt and covered up the scratchs with black spray paint

looks like really great bodywork considering you did it in a garage and hadnt done it before.

sometimes that's just the way it goes unfortunately. Keep up working on it, and soon enough it'll be better than ever.

I'd say you did a good job on painting it. Also those 5.0 motors are cheap. I bought one for $400, and it came with all the accessories, intake, injectors, etc.

Short block? Or bare? 302 bare blocks go for $50-100 here. Short blocks slightly more. However you would then need to have them gone through and checked. So maybe another $150.

Don't let it get to you down. I have had cars beat me up over the years and yet later on life I decided to restore my current mustang. it tried my patience but you push through. That was pretty high on the price, you can get explorer GT40 motors for pretty reasonable around my area, complete. best of luck but it looks good sofar.
