Help

OK here's the deal ladies and gentlemen it feels like my clutch isn't fully disengaging its sometimes hard to put it in gear and with the peddle fully depressed it grinds when trying to put it in reverse what do I need to do thanks in advance for any posts

Pretty sure your clutch is hydraulic. Pump the clutch pedal a few times and see if that helps. Master/slave cylinder may be leaking through.

I think its a cable clutch its what a 2000 mustang gt

Yep it's a cable. Try adjusting it first. With the car off put the car into first gear. Put your foot under the clutch pedal and try to pull it towards you, then push down on it. You should hear a couple clicks. After that, go drive it and see if that did anything. Of not, then it could be a stretched cable.

If not you should be able to adjust in under the dash... i believe..

OK thanks all I just adjusted it under the dash all good now back to enjoying the ride
