Getting ready to purchase a CAI but have a dumb question

You can buy these off brands Aluminum piping or spend a little more and buy a K&N. Is the K&N that much better that it is worth the 100.00 more or so to spend? Sorry I don't know too much on this subject but do want to get the best bang for the buck.

buy the off brand aluminum one and add a K&N filter later. The filter themselves can be purchased for less the 100.

What you should really look for is a CAI that goes into the fender wall. You get the least amount of heat there and that gets you extra power. For a daily driver, it's worth it.
