Gears and speedo?

Im gonna get a set of 373 gears this week. I know it will throw off my speedo. Someone told me if i have a bama tuner that it will fix issue without buying any thing else is this true. I own a tuner so that would be great..Can anyone give me the facts..

Depending on the year of your car, you might have a couple options. I don't think a tuner would work on a 94-95

No a tuner will not work for a 94-98 you have to get a spedo gear and the drive gear on the tranny

OP-That's a good question and this cannot be corrected with the Tuner. Can you let me know if you're manual or auto and I'm more than happy to post a few links up of what you're going to need!

Mike,

Sorry about this-I'm not sure where the disconnect is/was but 99+ cars will can have this corrected through the tune. For pre-99's they would need the plastic gears to have this corrected and I can see that we unfortunately do not carry exactly what you're going to need here! Sorry about this but let me know if you're to have any other questions and I'm here to help.

Mike,

The 21 Tooth Speedo Gear (Auto) but this would need an 8 Tooth Drive Gear which we unfortunately do not carry. I would recommend taking a look on Google or potentially directly through Ford Racing. Sorry I wasn't much help on that but shoot me a PM and I'll get our discount code over to you because of the oversight.
