gears

So guys the fabled question.....3.73 or 4.10. Both from AM, owners of each swear by them but I'm unsure. I want the 4.10s for the improved torque but I can't get a real answer on mpg and how much you lose top end. The 3.73s would be cool but I feel as though I would regret not going "all out" lol. Btw I have a 2002 GT. Finally I'm a noob with gears so what all do I need to order for the complete job. Thanks in advance!

What are you looking to get from your car? Are you at the track every weekend sending it down the quarter mile, or is it more your daily driver and it sees time on the highway? 4:10 gears would be awesome, but unless it's a weekend warrior or a cruising car, I don't know if I'd go with them. Just my 2c

No loss of top end for me. I run out of 4th right around 100mph (haven't paid attention). City gasileage improved and i don't drove highway enough to see if anything changed there. I do turn really high rpms on thw highway though, so bear that in mind. As far as install goes, have you ever done a major parts install on a car beforw? A gear install is not for the faint of heart.
