well I finally have my car back Everything is good just a small idle problem after crusing when I push in the clutch. Doesn't cut off just has a hard time settling back down to 900 RPM. Here's some pics, sorry not cleaner just decided it would rain the past 3 days. Hope to get some video and dyno numbers once I finish the break in miles. Will post some new pics after I get a chance to clean her up here soon.

Well, they did a great job. I've tried on 2 occassions to buy back my old '98 Cobra but the man who owns prefers to keep it so he can drive it once a week and also so he can go to his garage and admire it. What a waist.

 

I like to admire mine too....but it gets driven everyday rain or shine. Wont be much good once the snow comes. Sad part is the nitto dr's are fighting for traction on dry pavement. The only thing left to do under the hood is the aeromotive fuel rail kit. Mostly because it matches the rest of the theme under hood and hood struts. It was a long wait, but it was worth it in the end

is there a specific reason the MSD stuff is in the footwell?

 

It helps to keep it cooler then if it were in the engine bay.

 

I've seen that on race cars for the same reason, but on a street car it should be hidden, for security reasons imo, like behind or inside the glove box or under the passenger seat, so no douche can see it and break your window to steal it.

 

And I have other stuff going in the glove box. The location will change when I redo the interior and replace the carpet while getting the car painted. It will not fit under the stock seats without losing all the power seat functions. The tach adapters are going behind the glovebox. I wasnt going to get the msd box until later, but the ignition was breaking up with out it and mounted there on the floor allowed the excess wiring tp be hidden until the box gets moved. So its a temporary fix for now. That and it looks B****IN Not too worried about anyone stealing it. I work for the sheriff's office and when at work the car is under camera surveillance.

I don't know....guess you were out putting too many miles on the Mach. I hoping it will perform well once I get everything dialed in and "finished" just trying to decide on changing the hood when I replace the front bumper and get the car re-painted.

 

Perhaps I was stretching the Machs legs!

What type of hood are you thinking of installing? Car looks great as is in my opinion.

 

95 Cobra R hood. I dropped the hood when I removed it and chipped a small piece off that has to be fixed. So that got my friend to harrassing me to change the factory hood. Though I am resisting it because the 96-98 hood is one of my absolute favorites because it looks like the back of a real cobra's hood when it rears up. And the 95R hood is about equal as far as looks for me. There arent any other 94-98 hoods I like.
